Mandarin Oriental Hotel - SF Site Visit

As an event planner and I'm sure most professionals in the industry would agree, we want to know all the details of a venue. How big is the room, do they have windows, what's the wifi situation, where are the bathrooms, and etc...?  when i start looking at places to host events I'm bothered to find such limited information on the website not to mention the photos they put up. Let me point out that displaying a photo of flowers in a vase does not tell me ANYTHING about what the meeting room looks like, what a waste.

Most people in the industry especially if it's a smaller scale event don't have the time to do site visits so we rely pretty heavily on the internet, floor plans and communication with the venue. I figure I would give a simple overview of some of the places I've done events at or site visits I've gone to to give other meeting planners a glimpse behind the scenes.

Last week, I had a wonderful site visit at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in SF.
